How the planner works

The planner models demo-known rooms:

  • East Wing Resolve — stamina track up to +20 max stamina at level four
  • Combat Wing — damage percentage bonuses
  • Vitality Wing — health bonuses
  • Inventory Wing — tier unlocks for sword, hammer, and gun access

Adjust priority weights for solo (more health/stamina) vs co-op anchor builds (more damage).

When to use this tool

  • After profitable Grinder runs with limited gold
  • Before cosmetic spending tempts your crew
  • When returning from deep layers with rot repair costs
  • Planning session zero for new four-player groups

Planner limitations

Demo level caps may differ from launch. Second Outpost floor and Enchantment Machine stats are not modeled until verified post-release on launch features. Always confirm costs in-game.

  1. Enter current room levels in the tool
  2. Note recommended next upgrade and projected stats
  3. Purchase in Outpost with Murch and Biggy systems
  4. Run Extraction Run test to validate feel
  5. Revisit planner after session

Planner scenarios for common crew states

Broke after wipe: Planner prioritizes cheapest stamina or health bump preventing repeat wipe — not cosmetics.

Mid-progression argument: Export screenshot of planner output to Discord; vote on next gold spend with stats visible.

Pre-launch theorycraft: Model demo caps only; launch floor two stats arrive post-verification.

Solo player: Weight stamina and health sliders higher in planner assumptions — adjust mentally if UI lacks solo preset at wiki update time.

Integrating planner results with guides

Planner output is step one. Step two: validate feel in a shallow demo biome run before committing to deep layers. Numbers do not capture Corrupted pressure — human judgment still aborts greedy depth.

Feedback and accuracy

Report planner discrepancies on official Discord with room level screenshots. Community verification keeps fan tools honest after Beck & Branch patch notes change perk values.

Screenshot archive habit

Save planner screenshots weekly to see progression arcs across launch patches. Visual history helps crews remember why certain rooms were prioritized when meta shifts after hotfixes.

Planner vs tier list conflicts

If planner math disagrees with room priority tier list text, trust verified in-game costs first, then file Discord feedback. Demo caps may drift at launch — tools update after confirmation.

Planner session template

  1. Record current room levels after each extract.
  2. Enter levels into planner.
  3. Screenshot recommendation.
  4. Vote in co-op channel.
  5. Spend gold once in Outpost.
  6. Test shallow run before deep push.

Data sources

Planner values mirror demo community footage and room upgrades guide perk notes until launch datamining confirms new floors.
